Without referral

Osteopathy is part of primary health care. Such as a physiotherapist or a dentist.
A visit to Osteopathy Arthur Bukkems is therefore freely accessible without a referral from the GP.
A referral is also not required for your health insurer to get treatment reimbursed.
Osteopathy is a complementary medicine. An osteopath is therefore not a substitute for the GP.

Health insurance coverage

Osteopathy is partially reimbursed by most Dutch health insurers (supplementary package). Click here to view the most recent Dutch health insurer’ coverage. Arthur Bukkems is affiliated to the Dutch Register for Osteopathy (NRO) and also a member of the Dutch Association for Osteopathy (NVO). In doing so, he meets the requirements for compensation by health insurance.
